Sometimes that means leaving natural surroundings as pristine as they were found. Wiseman-Hughes is also at the forefront of numerous environmental issues and is committed to the conservative consumption of our country's natural resources. Thanks to technological advances, each and every new home we build this year will be approximately 45% more efficient in conserving gas, electricity and water than those we built just ten years ago. What's more, in 1994, Wiseman-Hughes became the first new home builder to develop and implement a worksite recycling program, thereby turning more than 60% of our construction waste into usable material. Each year we strive for more.
