N = Never said "No". We had several custom components to our home and Wiseman-Hughes never said No!

D = Delivery. Wiseman-Hughes was the only builder that could give us a delivery date the day we signed the contract and that date never changed. What a relief!

E = Education. We had never owned our own home before, and didn't really know what to expect. The Wiseman-Hughes family guided us through our journey and was always willing to answer any questions we had.

T = Teresa and Autumn. We loved our sales gals and trusted you totally. Any questions we asked were always addressed and if they didn't have an answer, they got back to us within just a few hours. This is unbelievable service!

T = Town of Yorkville. We thrive in a smaller community and Yorkville fit the bill.

R = Rolling hills. Wiseman-Hughes chose to leave the land similar to how they found it, with rolling hills which allow you to build a variety of elevations and different basements...our choices were endless!

I = Interests. Our personal interests are as diverse as dog walking and roller blading and the walking paths are so beautiful. It is a joy to live here.

D = Designers. Your model homes are gorgeous to view and made us feel like we were home...also, your designer, Suzanna was very knowledgeable in helping us pick our options.

G = Growth. Yorkville is primed for future growth as a city, and we wanted to be a part of that.

"Life will take you many places, but when we arrived at the Windett Ridge subdivision we knew right away this was where we wanted to raise our kids. After looking at several builders in one day, we accidentally came upon Wiseman-Hughes' Windett Ridge community. Coming from out of state and relocating, we felt that this subdivision was exactly what we were looking for. The spacious lots and open feeling of being away from a booming community are just two of the qualities we loved as we looked through the neighborhood.

Once we arrived, the sales associates were very courteous and professional while helping us search for the right home. Although we didn't get a chance to build our home, our Wiseman-Hughes home is one of the best homes we have lived in so far. After living here for almost six months now, we've had no major issues with our home and if we did have any issues, the staff on site here displayed great customer service to quickly respond. We feel very grateful to live here with good neighbors and a home we can finally enjoy living in. "We have been in our Wiseman-Hughes home for two months now and we are very pleased. The quality of the construction has been evident since our pre-drywall walk through -- I know because I am a building inspector for a living.

The Wiseman-Hughes staff has been very responsive to correct the minor problems that always do occur with every new construction -- both at our initial walk through and at the 45-day re-inspection. The staff arrived on time for their appointments, promptly and professionally maked the corrections and cleaned up well.

"As you know, we relocated to the metro Chicago area. In all of our visits to the smaller towns on the outskirts, the developments we were drawn to were ALL Wiseman-Hughes. It didn't take us long to figure out we wanted a Wiseman-Hughes home. The quality and pride in workmanship was very easy to see.

We chose Windett Ridge for a few reasons, but the way the development lays out was a large part. The choice of homes, the size of the home sites, the lakes and trail all played into our decision. The town of Yorkville was another large part.

Once the process began, we were surprised at the level of customer service. We had a good feeling about the two of you, as you had been very helpful, professional, honest and knowledgeable. What surprised us, was the fact that you welcomed visits from the 'buyers' and the pre-drywall walk through. Where we came from, the builders tried to keep you as far away from the home before the closing date as they could, yet Wiseman-Hughes actually invited us to walk through it for a mini-inspection not too far into the process.

The building process came off without a hitch. We had a few minor punch items at the final walk through, but they were very minor.

Thank you for making this process as smooth as it was. Being long distance, we expected problems along the way, as well as frustration from having to deal with those problems. That didn't happen. We are very happy with our Wiseman-Hughes home here at Windett Ridge! Thank you!"

"Prior to selecting our Windett model, not finding the ranch-style home we desired, we almost settled on another 2-story. We looked at many model homes, spoke with many builders and found the flooplans and options to lack character. We encountered inflexibility and were treated with indifference. Although you say Wiseman-Hughes is not a semi-custom or custom builder, with the numerous changes requested, we will have a home to our specifications.

Although we have purchased many homes throughout the years, this is our first new construction home purchase. I have spoken with many friends and co-workers about the difficulties (and horrors) of dealing with home builders and their Sales staff. Although we found the selection process difficult and time consuming (we were very picky), you made the experience more bearable.
